Role & Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and reconcile petty cash
Managing the office petty cash ensuring sufficient funds are available
Making payments according to guidelines of Finance manual
Maintain up to date records of all transaction
2. Reconciling bank accounts and cash floats issued
Reconcile bank statements on a monthly basis
Reconcile cash floats issued on a weekly basis
Reconciliation of Vendor/Parties/Staff Advances on monthly basis
3. Preparing vouchers and payments
Raise payment/journal vouchers
Confirm accuracy of calculations, Check supporting documents
Ensure compliance to finance procedures
Prepare cheques and banking
Assist in accurate and timely processing payments and maintenance of all contracts, and rental agreement, but not limited to telephone bill payment/ Internet bill payments etc.,
Ensure the vendors payments are being dispatched from accounts department
Point of contact for credit card transactions
4. Maintain organized filing system
Maintaining hard copies and organized filing system and record keeping
Maintain softcopies in a computerized system/ Cloud
Take periodic backups on weekly basis of accounting software
Maintaining cheque inward/ outward register
Maintain records of all legal/statutory/tax
5. Data Entry and Banking
Record accounting entries in accounting software on a timely basis
Liaise with bankers for smoother banking operations - Addition/Deletion of authorized signatories and any other organization requirements
Statutory payments / Compliance (TDS, EPF, ESI & PT)
Accounting of payroll related payments
Relationship Management
Ensure that key staff at the state and district office have a clear understanding of the processes and support them as &
when required
Support the employees/stakeholders and be available to respond to their queries
Point of Contact for ATLAS and ZOHO Expense Management tool
Attending/ Conducting internal stakeholders meetings along with People team to address any queries/ challenges
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor s degree with 5+ years related experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Proficient in Excel
Knowledge of accounting software will be an added advantage
Enthusiasm to take up challenges and lead from the front. Some exposure or work experience, preferably in the Education / youth development is an advantage.
Good communication skills.
Candidate should be flexible, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and an energetic team player
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other team
Salary: The pay band for the position starts at Rs. 58,000/- per month (cost to company) ( The salary offered will be commensurate with the experience and expertise of the candidate)
