Accounts Executive

An Accounts Execu,ve is an integral part of the accounts & finance team responsible for managing day-to-day accoun,ng of financial transac,ons, maintaining accurate accoun,ng records, and suppor,ng the overall accoun,ng & financial opera,ons of the organiza,on. The Accounts Execu,ve plays a crucial role in ensuring financial data accuracy, adherence to accoun,ng principles, and contribu,ng to the smooth func,oning of the accounts department.

Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, verify and record payments received from clients, and manage outstanding accounts. Ensure ,mely and accurate payments to vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Record and categorize financial transac,ons appropriately to ensure accurate financial repor,ng.

Bank Reconcilia,on: Regularly reconcile bank statements with the companys financial records to iden,fy discrepancies and ensure accuracy.

PeOy Cash Management: Maintain and reconcile peOy cash transac,ons, ensuring proper documenta,on and adherence to company policies.

Expense Management: Process employee expense claims, verify suppor,ng documents, and ensure compliance with expense policies.

Financial Repor,ng: Assist in the prepara,on of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Contribute to month-end and year-end closing ac,vi,es.

Tax Compliance: GST & TDS deduc,ons and payment. Prepara,on of TDS reruns and filing as well prepara,on of GST monthly data reconcilia,on to facilitate accurate filing of GST retrun.

Data Entry and Documenta,on: Accurately enter financial data into accoun,ng soTware and maintain proper documenta,on of financial transac,ons.

Vendor and Client Communica,on: Communicate with vendors and clients regarding payment and invoicing maOers, resolving any discrepancies or issues promptly.

Assist in Audi,ng: Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing necessary documenta,on and responding to audit inquiries.

Financial Analysis: Support financial analysis efforts by providing data and informa,on as required for decision-making and planning purposes.

Process Improvement: Iden,fy opportuni,es to streamline accoun,ng processes and contribute to the implementa,on of best prac,ces for greater efficiency.

Qualifica,ons and Skills:

Bachelors degree in Accoun,ng, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

Proven experience in an accoun,ng or finance role is an advantage but not always mandatory, as this posi,on can also serve as an entry-level role for recent graduates.

Basic knowledge of accoun,ng principles, financial regula,ons, and repor,ng standards.

Familiarity with accoun,ng soTware and tools. Proficiency in MicrosoT Excel is oTen essen,al.

Strong aOen,on to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.

Good communica,on skills to interact with colleagues, vendors, and clients effec,vely.

Organiza,onal skills and ability to manage mul,ple tasks efficiently.

Analy,cal mindset to iden,fy discrepancies and poten,al issues in financial data.

Willingness to learn and adapt to changes in accoun,ng prac,ces and technologies.
