Quantiphi - BI Architect - Data Visualization (7-12 yrs)

Role : Associate Architect BI.

Experience Level : 7-12 years.

Work location : Mumbai/Bangalore/Trivandrum.

Role & Responsibilities :

- Design, develop and deploy business intelligence solutions to enable clients to make data-driven business decisions.

- Collaborate with business users and other stakeholders to understand business processes and requirements.

- Provide research, high-level design and estimates for data transformation and data integration from source applications to end-user BI solutions.

- Collaborate with teams to integrate BI systems.

- Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses.

- Create visualizations and reports for requested projects.

- Developing Data Gateways for data refreshing, content pack library.

- Creating Custom Visuals and Groups Creation and managing Embed Codes.

- Identify opportunities to improve processes and strategies with technology solutions.

- Identify development needs in order to improve and streamline operations through automation.

Required Skills :

- 7+ years of experience in Data Visualization/Business Intelligence.

- Must have hands-on experience with Power BI service, Dax Transformations and Power Query.

- Must have hands-on experience with Dataflow Transformations on Power BI Service.

- Must have hands-on experience with Migration of Power BI reports from dev to production.

- In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP), ETL, ELT frameworks, and data-warehousing.

- Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

- Highly proficient in working with large volumes of business data and strong understanding of database design and implementation.

- Good experience in performance tuning of Power BI reports and dashboards.

- Solid experience in complex SQL logic.

- Should have some concepts on building Security around the entire Data Warehouse.

- Implementation of Row Level Security by defining various constraints for each role.

- Good at creating different visualizations using Slicers, Lines, Pies, Histograms, Maps, Scatter, Bullets, Heat Maps, Tree maps, etc.

- Experience with Qlikview/Qliksense, Tableau and/or GCP Looker is a plus.

- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is preferred.

- Team leading experience is a plus.

- Financial Services, Banking or Asset Management experience is preferred.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
