Informatica Developer - SSIS/SSRS (6-7 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a talented Informatica Developer with strong experience in ETL processes, data analytics, and reporting.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter, working with PL/SQL for database operations, and utilizing SSRS for reporting.

The role also demands hands-on experience with SSIS (ETL), SSAS (Data Analytics), and Power BI/SSRS for data visualization and reporting.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain efficient ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter to extract data from multiple sources, transform it according to business rules, and load it into target systems (data warehouses, databases).

- Develop and optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Write and optimize PL/SQL scripts to interact with relational databases, implement complex transformations, and ensure data integrity.

- Work with databases like Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL to manage and manipulate data.

- Create and maintain SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services) multidimensional cubes for efficient data analysis and business intelligence.

- Develop interactive and visually rich reports and dashboards using Power BI and SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) to present data insights to business stakeholders.

- Design and implement data visualizations, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business processes and decision-making.

- Integrate disparate data sources from multiple platforms (e., flat files, databases, cloud services) into a unified data model.

- Work on data migration and data warehousing solutions using Informatica and other related tools.

- Analyze and optimize existing ETL processes, reports, and queries to improve performance.

- Identify performance bottlenecks and apply appropriate optimization techniques to enhance the efficiency of data extraction, transformation, and reporting.

- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other developers to understand and meet business requirements.

- Provide support for deployment, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution related to ETL, database queries, and reporting solutions.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

- 6+ years of experience in Informatica PowerCenter, PL/SQL, and SSRS development.

- Strong expertise in SSIS (ETL) for data integration and SSAS (Data Analytics) for multidimensional cubes.

- Hands-on experience with Power BI and SSRS for reporting and data visualization.

Technical Proficiency :

- Solid experience in designing, developing, and deploying ETL workflows.

- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers in PL/SQL.

- Knowledge of developing ETL packages using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

- Strong experience in designing, developing, and deploying reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

- Familiarity with creating and managing multidimensional data cubes in SQL Server Analysis Services.

- Proficiency in designing and building interactive reports and dashboards in Power BI.
