Senior Test Engineer
Banking domain experience in Retail Internet banking and Mobile Banking
Senior test engineers assume leadership and mentoring roles and oversee the testing team in their daily activities. Some of their duties include:
Leading the conversation between developers, testing team, business analysts, product owners and clients to prepare the testing strategy as part of SDLC
Overseeing the design and execution of the test strategy in alignment with project goals and objectives
Designing complex test scenarios to perform comprehensive testing of the application
Overseeing the development of the automation testing framework, along with test scenarios, data and scripts
Overseeing the setup and maintenance of testing environments, including software, hardware and network installations and configurations
Defining test metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of the testing strategy and identifying areas for improvement
Conducting risk assessments to identify risks associated with testing, such as test environments, technical, data and tools, and regression risks
Preparing comprehensive reports that provide a detailed overview of the testing scope, objectives and test coverage, results and metrics
Conducting training sessions and workshops to train junior employees on testing best practices, tools and frameworks
