Job Description
- Overall health management of poultry flocks, including disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment
- Inspection of poultry farms regularly to ensure compliance with health and welfare standards, and provide guidance on disease prevention and control measures
- Oversee the implementation of quality control measures throughout the poultry production process
- Conduct routine inspections and testing of feed raw materials, poultry products to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Enforcing FSSAI and other (EU) food safety standards in feed, poultry and poultry products, to ensure consumer safety
- Conducts regular inspections of poultry farms and processing plants to ensure adherence to food safety standards and regulations Collaborating with veterinary and food safety authorities to monitor and address any public health concerns related to poultry production and consumption
- Implementing biosecurity measures and housing management to maintain the health and welfare of poultry
- Monitoring and auditing hygiene and temperature control during the transportation of live birds and poultry products for animal welfare and ensure product safety
- Co-ordinating all the deportments within the branch
- Periodical training to staffs related on bird health and disease preventive measures
- Timely reporting and communication to the reporting manager
