Role & responsibilities
Lead team of regional heads, senior managers, managers and front-Line field team for the regions.
• Strategize the growth in the States and Regions and chalk out a clear vision focusing on, but not restricted to, People, Customer, Geography, Product, Category, Segment and Overall Education Ecosystem, drawing from the National Sales strategy
• Devising a go‐to‐market plan strategy, driving and coordinating the pace of execution • Achieving target levels of new business and retention of existing business through effective management of a team of sales professionals and distributor network.
• Implementation of Sales Strategy that addresses sales coverage in the geography
• To recruit, inspire, develop, manage and motivate a growing team of sales professionals and distributor network.
• Deliver high standards of sales services across all identified markets.
• To regularly report achievements versus budget forecasts to the Senior Management Team and manage the sales in a scientific manner.
• To manage the Market Excellence/Intelligence process, gathering market and customer information and Providing feedback on future trends, to support sales campaigns.
• To work closely with the operations team to do proper forecasting and ensure successful smooth deliveries.
• Ensure quality control of all sales output pertaining to customer acquisition and service delivery • Establish and monitor performance reporting systems
• Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, market indicators, and competitors.
