Job Description: Contracts Manager
Position Title: Contracts Manager
Location: Ahmedabad / Gandhinagar
Reports to: Head Contracts

Key Responsibilities

1. Vendor Management
   
• Identify and prequalify vendors for project requirements.
• Conduct thorough vendor assessments and ensure that vendor qualifications meet project specifications.
2. Preparation of Tender Documents / RFP
   
• Prepare comprehensive tender documents, including Request for Proposals (RFP), ensuring all technical and commercial aspects are covered.
• Perform market rate analysis for various items, ensuring competitiveness and cost-effectiveness in vendor selection.
3. Coordination and Query Resolution
   
• Work closely with other teams to provide timely responses to vendor and contractor queries during the tender process.
• Ensure clarity in tender specifications and Requests for Information (RFIs).
4. Techno-Commercial Negotiations
   
• Lead techno-commercial negotiations with vendors and contractors to ensure favorable terms and conditions for the company.
• Optimize cost structures while maintaining quality and delivery timelines.
5. Claims Analysis and Scrutiny
   
• Scrutinize and analyze claims raised by the site team during the execution phase.
• Ensure the validity and accuracy of claims before recommending resolutions.
6. Vendor Management via SAP
   
• Utilize SAP (MM module) for vendor management and work order formalities.
• Manage all SAP-related activities, ensuring smooth workflows and accurate documentation.
