Staff Nurse - GNM, B Sc Nursing, Diploma Nursing

Role & responsibilities:

• Coordination with the investigator during the check-in and checkout process.
• Measurement of vital signs at defined intervals as per the study
• Maintenance of the emergency care unit.
• Handling and reporting of adverse events.
• Identification of necessary infrastructure and personnel for PK sampling of the study.
• Labeling of required biological matrix collection and separation tubes
• Arrangement of necessary utensils (such as dry ice, heparin, syringes, cannulaes, tourniquets, etc.,) for sample collection.
• Collection, centrifugation, separation, storage, and transfer of biosamples as per stated protocol.
• Collection, segregation and disposal of biomedical waste.
• Disposal of unused sample tubes.
• Coordination with investigator and coordinators for drug administration activity.
• Coordination with the Technical Support for calibration and preventive maintenance of equipments / instruments.
• Coordination with the quality control and quality assurance personnel.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by the investigator from time to time.
