SAP ABAP Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP Consultant to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in SAP ABAP development and will be responsible for delivering high-quality solutions that meet our business needs. This role is critical to the success of our SAP projects and requires a deep understanding of ABAP programming, SAP modules, and integration technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, forms, and conversions.
• Design and implement custom enhancements and modifications to SAP systems, ensuring they align with business requirements.
• Collaborate with functional teams to understand business processes and develop technical specifications.
• Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in SAP systems.
• Provide technical support during SAP implementations, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
• Optimize ABAP code and performance to ensure efficient and effective SAP system operation.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies, tools, and best practices.
  Required Skills and Qualifications:
  
  Experience: 7-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
  
  Technical Expertise: Proficiency in ABAP programming including ALV reporting, dialog programming, BAPIs, BADIs, enhancements, user exits, and SAPScript\/SmartForms.
  • Experience with SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI, HR, and others.
  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori\/UI5, OData, and CDS views is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of SAP integration techniques such as IDocs, RFCs, and BAPIs.
    Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
    
    Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills with a keen eye for detail.
    
    Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and team members.
    
    Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    
    Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. SAP certification is an advantage.
    
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience in SAP S\/4HANA.
    • Knowledge of Agile\/Scrum methodologies.
    • Prior experience in a consulting environment
