Manual QA Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Manual QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in functional testing, test case creation, execution, and defect tracking. The role requires strong analytical skills to identify requirement gaps, along with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The candidate should be adaptable to changing priorities based on client needs and possess strong communication skills to collaborate directly with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform functional testing and follow manual testing processes.

• Develop and execute test cases based on user stories and business requirements.

• Identify, log, track, and verify bugs using test management tools like Jira.

• Analyze requirements for potential gaps and suggest improvements.

• Create detailed test documentation, including test plans and reports.

• Conduct API testing as part of quality assurance processes.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure product quality.

• Adapt to changing work priorities based on client needs.

• Maintain clear communication with clients and team members.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong experience in manual testing, including functional testing, test case execution, and defect tracking.

• Familiarity with SDLC and STLC processes.

• Proficiency in using test management tools like Jira.

• Good understanding of API testing.

• Strong analytical skills to identify and address requirement gaps.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Willingness to work from the office five days a week.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge or hands-on experience in automation testing.

• Experience working directly with clients.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
