Job description
Seeking a dynamic, experienced, and strategic Vice President of Marketing who is a growth hacker at heart and can drive exponential scale. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of B2C growth strategies, community engagement and monetization. You will be responsible for overseeing and aligning our B2C digital marketing, creative content, and community engagement.
The need for mid to large organizations to brand themselves, engage with and recruit talented women drives a substantial part of revenue. Hence, the ideal candidate for the position should be able to lead a team of B2B marketing professionals effectively to create a brand with employer organizations, and generate revenue opportunities for the sales team.
Your leadership and vision will help scale rapidly and effectively in India and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy and Execution:
- Drive strategic marketing initiatives aimed at exponential growth in user acquisition through creative distribution and engagement strategies
- Steer the team towards target achievement by driving excellence in key areas such as (and not limited), digital marketing, partnerships, alliances and offline marketing
- Accelerate product-led growth by collaborating with the product team and integrating marketing strategies with the product roadmap
- Boost sales opportunities through a sharp B2B marketing strategy, leading to employer engagement and lead generation
Branding and Positioning:
- Ensure that core brand essence is represented consistently across all its communication
- Guide the creative development of campaigns that stand out while reinforcing the platform's mission, values and its unique brand identity.
Team Leadership:
- Mentor and inspire team members while ensuring seamless execution of both strategy and day-to-day operations.
Oversee and manage a large marketing team, including:
- Digital Marketing Experts (SEO, SEM, Social, Performance Marketing).
- Creative Team of content creators and designers.
- Community Engagement Team to foster deep platform participation and interaction.
- B2B Marketing Team to build lead pipelines to feed into the Sales team.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Align strategic marketing efforts with overall company goals, by working closely with the Founder & CEO and other members of the Core Team
- Drive deep collaboration with the Product team to create exponential growth and engagement through the platform
- Partner with Sales and Delivery teams to ensure revenue growth and client satisfaction
Operational and Analytical Expertise:
- Take charge of marketing budget planning to deliver the best results across brand and tactical metrics
- Lead the efforts for martech implementation and leverage analytics and data-driven insights to monitor campaign performance, adjusting strategies to maximize ROI.
Passion for numbers is mandatory.
- Ensure high standards for execution and operations across all growth, community, and revenue functions
Community Growth
- Develop and execute initiatives that grow and engage online and offline communities.
- Lead innovative community-building campaigns, both virtual and in-person, to foster user loyalty and brand ambassadors.
Requirements
- 15 -18 years in marketing, with a strong background in B2C growth and digital marketing strategies
- At least 5 years of experience managing a multi-disciplinary team
- A formal Master's degree in Marketing is desirable but not mandatory
