Quality Assurance Engineer/Associate - Manual Testing (2-7 yrs)

Job Description :

We are looking for a motivated QA Engineer Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual testing, mobile app testing, and working in dynamic startup environments. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our products by designing and executing test plans, analyzing data, and collaborating with cross-

functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Conduct comprehensive manual testing for web and mobile applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.

- Design and create detailed flow charts to map user journeys, enhancing the test coverage.

- Write, review, and maintain test cases, ensuring alignment with product requirements.

- Perform mobile app testing across different devices, platforms, and environments.

- Utilize SQL to analyze and validate data, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

- Track issues and manage testing activities using JIRA or similar project management tools.

- Analyze logs and data from various sources to identify patterns, trends, and areas for improvement.

- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide timely feedback.

- Participate in test planning, strategy discussions, and status meetings.

- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying gaps in processes and suggesting enhancements.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 2 - 7 years of overall work experience, including 3+ years of manual testing experience.

- 2+ years of experience in a startup environment.

- 2+ years of experience in mobile app testing across different operating systems.

- Expertise in creating flow charts to map user journeys and improve test coverage.

- Strong knowledge of writing and managing test cases.

- Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation and analysis.

- Hands-on experience using JIRA for issue tracking and project management.

- Ability to analyze logs and data from various sources to derive actionable insights.

- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in fast-paced environments.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium) is a plus.

- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and workflows.

- Familiarity with API testing and performance testing tools.
