Key skills for the job
Lead strategy, planning, and execution activities for programs that improve customer engagement, loyalty, and retention for the credit card business. This individual will work closely with colleagues to drive success and implement segmentation, marketing campaigns, customer treatment strategies, and account management programs that deliver NPV-positive impacts for the credit card P&L.
Responsibilities :
- Implement customer segmentation analysis and formulate card marketing and retention strategies to stimulate card usage.
- Develop marketing campaigns and partnership programs to boost customer engagement as measured by incremental, NPV-positive purchase volume, revolve, and revenue growth.
- Manage Zolve's rewards program to ensure robust, competitive offers, experiences, and partnerships while balancing cost.
- Own tracking and drive awareness of business performance on key metrics, explaining
performance and insights regarding trends and expert opinion on forecasted performance.
- Understand drivers of P&L performance and identify opportunities for enhancement.
- Leverage data to identify trends and insights that impact success, report on key metrics, and optimize engagement, retention, and loyalty programs.
- Seek, understand, and apply new trends and competitive best practices where applicable.
- Maintain close liaison with internal stakeholders and business partners for smooth execution of marketing programs.
Qualifications:
- 5-7+ years' experience in product, strategy, analytics, or marketing with consumer credit cards
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, industrious, and hardworking. An incisive thinker who moves fast and likes to get things done. Follows through on items without being managed. Resourceful, has grit, and a positive "can do" attitude.
- Plans, organizes, and schedules in an efficient, productive manner; focuses on key priorities; manages time well.
- Confident written and verbal communicator-able to convey complex ideas and sell a narrative to drive the business forward.
- Analytically savvy-strong knowledge of reporting/analytical tools to leverage quantitative and qualitative insights to drive decisions.
- Adaptable and sensible marketing leader who can flex different strengths at different times when needed.
- Sound business judgment with a consistent track record of taking ownership and driving results.
- Comfortable with quickly changing priorities and conditions; copes effectively with complexity and change. Comfortable with risk, which means uncertainty, which means potential opportunity. Willing to develop new approaches where needed.
