Job Title : Senior IT System Manager
Work Experience : 8+ years
Job Type : Remote
Main job tasks :
- Yearly System Management Activities.
- Monitoring the day-to-day usage, operation and maintenance of the SSS IT system.
- Validation of IT systems and application service.
- Ensure that the computer system is in compliance with internal and external regulatory bodies requirements.
- Prepare user requirement specifications for system.
- Manage incidents & Problems.
- Handle Change Management (Change Request/Deviation)
- Maintain servers and support server patch management activities as necessary.
- Deployment of New Site Servers.
- De-commissioning of old Site Servers.
- Monitor the effectiveness of the incident and problem management process, make recommendations for improvements.
Scope of Authority :
- Assigned acts of authority (QMS requirements) - also include information on independence and decision-making authority
Other areas of responsibility :
- Must work independently without supervision from manager and only guidance will rarely be required from time to time. Also, the employee might mentor/coach employees in the same area of specialty.
- Work with System/Business/Product Owner on the future strategy and initiatives across the system
- Often required to convince others with a mutual interest with an interest to accept and adopt new concepts, practices and approaches
- Strong collaboration with project team.
- Demonstrated ability to identify best practices and improvements in methods, techniques approaches etc. in Service Management.
- Excellent decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent communication on the contractual terms for the services offered and ability to change based on the business needs.
- Encouraged to innovate new ways to provide better and improvised solution to partners for all the deliverables on time.
- Complexity of business solutions are sometimes in our own job area and sometimes across the department.
- With time and with our growth managing change and innovation becomes increasingly difficult. Hence to improve our processes, faster & cheaper deliverables, it very important that we constantly innovate.
- For an effective response to our changing environments, we are in utmost need to think about innovative ideas to retain our knowledge in a very structured way.
Knowledge, skills and experience :
Education : Bachelor's degree in computers/Electronics/or Equivalent degree
Experience :
- 8-10 years of experience in IT and Pharmaceutical industry, handling GxP systems or project, Incident, problem & Change management.
- Knowledge of and experience with external parties, primarily with customers, vendors and consultants.
- Knowledge of and experience with regulatory requirements (e. GMP, 21 CFR Part 11)
Personal skills :
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good team player
- Ability to collaborate and communicate with external parties (vendors), stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written in English
