QA / QC Engineer ( Civil )

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer to manage and oversee quality assurance and quality control processes for our construction projects. The candidate should have a strong background in construction material testing, adherence to IS codes, and coordination with clients, consultants, and NABL-accredited labs. The role also requires excellent organizational, technical, and communication skills to ensure project quality compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
1.Construction Materials Testing & Quality Control:
oConduct and supervise laboratory testing of various construction materials (e.g., concrete, aggregates, soil, steel, etc.).
oEnsure compliance with IS Codes and standards for testing methods and results.
oDevelop and maintain accurate testing procedures and documentation formats.

2.Technical Compliance:
oThorough knowledge of IS Codes relevant to material testing and quality assurance.
oEnsure all testing activities align with technical specifications and project requirements.
oStay updated on evolving industry standards and methods for quality testing.

3.Coordination & Liaison:
oCollaborate with clients, consultants, and NABL-accredited labs for material testing and certifications.
oMaintain effective communication between the site team and head office for seamless quality control processes.

4.Documentation & Reporting:
oPrepare, organize, and maintain comprehensive quality records, reports, and documentation.
oGenerate testing reports and ensure all records comply with audit requirements.
oSubmit periodic QA/QC status updates to project managers and other stakeholders.

5.Process Improvement & Site Coordination:
oImplement QA/QC procedures to enhance site quality control practices.
oGuide and train site teams on best practices for quality assurance and testing.
oAddress and resolve quality issues on-site promptly.

6.Software Proficiency:
oUtilize MS Office tools for report preparation, data analysis, and presentations.
oEffectively use email communication for coordination and reporting.

Key Skills & Requirements:
Experience:
oMinimum 3+ years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer on construction projects.

Education:
oDiploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or any related engineering discipline.

Knowledge:
oIn-depth understanding of IS Codes for testing and construction materials standards.
oProficient in material testing methods and procedures.

Technical Proficiency:
oStrong command of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.
oExcellent email and written communication skills for effective coordination.

Personal Skills:
oStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.
oExcellent interpersonal and organizational skills to handle multiple stakeholders.
