Roles & Responsibilties : S.No Accountabilities Responsibilities 1 On time Delivery to Customers
Planning the production based on customers delivery requirement.
Continuously reviewing the production status and taking countermeasures to meet customer requirement.
Decide on stock diversion.
Organize PPC reviews.
Customer delivery requirements are ensured by managing Production planning and delivery Control Process
Ensure robust planning, arranging and monitoring production at every stages leading to despatch right material, in right quantity, at right time to meet customers delivery requirement.
2 Effective Utilisation of the resources
Ensuring timely availability of yarn and production job cards without any delays.
Balancing the product mix to the maximum possible extent to keep the shed running with out much of overloading.
Using raw material in economical way.
Keep control on raw material inventories
Keep control on stage wise WIP to avoid delays and pile up of inventories.
3 Optimizing Textile Production
Ensuring availability of production job cards at least for three days at any point of time.
Close interaction with manufacturing team to optimize production in an effective and efficient manner.
Daily reviews and taking countermeasures regularly
Maintain regular follow ups with Textiles, Dipping, AQ and FG to maximize internal efficiency and also ensure proper ageing controls to meet customer requirements.
Ensure the plans are revised based on updated communication from Marketing and the customer needs are met.
4 On time receipt of raw materials
Providing the yarn requirements based on rolling sales plan and based on actual orders by 25th and 3rd respectively.
Interacting with concerned units to get raw material on time with out any stock outs.
Closely monitoring yarn arrival status with respect to the indents given and taking appropriate actions.
5 Coordination deliveries
Coordinating with Textiles, Dipping, Technical, QA and MLT to effect despatches in a timely manner.
Customer complaints on Late and Incomplete Deliveries are properly registered analysed and countermeasures implemented in line with relevant SOPs.
Timely feedback to be provided to the customer.
6 product quality meeting customer requirement
Ensure updated testing plans are followed up
Regularly review and update testing plans
