Senior Backend Developer - Python/Django (5-7 yrs)

JOb Description :

We are looking for a skilled Senior Backend Developer with expertise in AWS, Lambda, and Python to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate should have 3 to 4 years of experience in backend development, designing and maintaining scalable cloud-based applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python and AWS Lambda.

- Architect and implement serverless applications and microservices.

- Develop, test, and deploy RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.

- Optimize and monitor cloud-based applications for performance and scalability.

- Work with AWS services such as API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and SNS/SQS.

- Implement best practices for security, performance, and maintainability.

- Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams to ensure seamless integration.

- Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance existing applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5 to 7 years of backend development experience.

- Proficiency in Python and frameworks such as Django.

- Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda and serverless architectures.

- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and AWS services.

- Experience in working with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL,DynamoDB, etc.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

- Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth, JWT, IAM roles & policies.

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS ECS/EKS.

- Familiarity with event-driven architectures using AWS SNS, SQS, or Kafka.

- Knowledge of data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark or AWS Glue.

- Experience with monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.

Education :

- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
