Webdura Technologies - Senior Backend Developer - Python/Django (7-11 yrs)

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer with expertise in Python and Django to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems to power our applications and services.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.

Requirements :

- Proven experience as a Backend Developer with a focus on Python and Django.

- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and API design principles.

- Experience with relational databases (e.g, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and writing efficient SQL queries.

- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.

- Knowledge of deployment and CI/CD pipelines (e.g, Docker, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

- Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.

- Familiarity with other Python frameworks like Flask or FastAPI is a bonus.

- Solid understanding of software development principles, including design patterns, OOP, and testing.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure RESTful APIs using Python and Django.

- Develop and maintain database schemas, write and optimize complex SQL queries, and ensure data integrity.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and translate business needs into technical solutions.

- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and testing.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and best practices. Troubleshoot and debug backend issues, identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

- Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends in backend development.

- Contribute to the overall improvement of the development process and team efficiency.

- Proven experience as a Backend Developer with a strong focus on Python and Django.

- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and API design principles (e.g., OpenAPI Specification).
