Engineering Manager (8-13 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a seasoned and results-oriented Engineering Manager to lead and inspire our engineering team. Responsibilities :

Team Leadership and Management :

- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development.

- Recruit, onboard, and retain top engineering talent.

- Resolve team conflicts and ensure a positive and productive work environment.

Project Management and Delivery :

- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with product managers and stakeholders.

- Manage project risks and dependencies, and proactively address any issues that may arise.

- Ensure adherence to agile development methodologies and best practices.

Technical Leadership and Architecture :

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team, ensuring the adoption of best practices and coding standards.

- Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions, ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of our software products.

- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance team productivity and product quality.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality.

Collaboration and Communication :

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define product requirements and roadmaps.

- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, providing regular updates on project progress and technical challenges.

Process Improvement and Optimization :

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and product quality.

Required Technical Skills :

Software Development Lifecycle :

- Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Programming Languages and Technologies :

- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#).

- Experience with relevant frameworks and technologies (e.g., Spring Boot, Django, React, .NET Core).

Architecture and Design :

- Strong understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.

- Experience with microservices architecture and cloud-native technologies.

Cloud Platforms :

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Experience with deploying and managing applications in cloud environments.

Databases :

- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.

- Experience with database design, optimization, and performance tuning.

DevOps :

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Testing and Quality Assurance :
