Azure Data Architect (10-15 yrs)

We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Architect to lead our data infrastructure strategy, ensuring scalable, efficient, and secure solutions that empower data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and Architecture : Lead the design and implementation of Azure-based data solutions, including data lakes, data warehouses, and data pipelines.

- Data Integration : Develop strategies for seamless integration of disparate data sources into unified, accessible, and optimized systems.

- Performance Optimization : Optimize data systems for performance, scalability, and reliability, addressing latency and throughput challenges.

- Security and Compliance : Ensure all data solutions comply with security and regulatory standards, implementing robust governance frameworks.

- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, business analysts, and developers, to understand business needs and deliver tailored data solutions.

- Innovation : Stay updated with the latest Azure technologies and trends, recommending and implementing innovations to improve the organization's data strategy.

- Mentorship : Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.

Experience :

- Minimum 10+ years of experience in data architecture and engineering.

- Proven expertise in designing and implementing Azure-based data solutions.

Technical Skills :

- Proficient in Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Databricks.

- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data pipeline development.

- Hands-on experience with big data technologies and tools (Spark, Hadoop).

- Advanced knowledge of programming languages like Python, SQL, and Scala.

Certifications :

- Azure Data Engineer or Azure Solutions Architect certifications are highly desirable.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with AI/ML integration into data platforms.

- Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.

- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
