Azure Data Architect - Synapse Analytics (10-15 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement complex data solutions leveraging Azure data services (e.g , Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks).

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data architecture blueprints.

- Select and implement appropriate data modeling techniques to ensure data integrity, consistency, and efficiency.

- Ensure data security and compliance with industry regulations and best practices.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive data governance policies and procedures.

- Automate data pipelines and workflows to streamline data ingestion, transformation, and delivery.

- Monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Azure data services and cloud technologies.

- Mentor and guide junior team members on data architecture best practices.

Qualifications :

- 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and enterprise data management.

- Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure data services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks.

- Strong understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and big data concepts.

- Experience with data modeling methodologies (e.g, Kimball methodology).

- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data querying languages (e.g , T-SQL, KQL).

- Solid understanding of data security principles and best practices (e.g, RBAC, encryption).

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

- A passion for innovation and a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest trends in data architecture
