Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud 1 computing, with hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud platforms, automation tools, and best practices for cloud security and performance.
Responsibilities :
Cloud Infrastructure Management :
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Implement and maintain cloud networking, security, and storage solutions.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and ensure high availability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues.
Automation and Scripting :
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for infrastructure management and deployment.
- Use scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
Cloud Security and Compliance :
- Implement and maintain cloud security best practices.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Cloud Monitoring and Logging :
- Implement and manage cloud monitoring and logging solutions.
- Analyze logs and metrics to identify performance bottlenecks and security threats.
- Use monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Stackdriver.
Collaboration and Support :
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to deploy and manage applications in the cloud.
- Provide technical support to internal teams and clients.
- Participate in on-call rotations for cloud infrastructure support.
Cost Optimization :
- Implement cost optimization strategies for cloud infrastructure.
- Analyze cloud usage and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Required Technical Skills :
Cloud Platforms :
- Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with cloud networking, security, and storage services.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Scripting Languages : Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- CI/CD Tools : Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Containerization and Orchestration : Docker, Kubernetes.
- Monitoring and Logging Tools : CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.
- Operating Systems : Linux and Windows Server.
- Networking : TCP/IP, DNS, VPN.
- Security : Cloud security best practices, IAM, security groups.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4-7 years of experience in cloud engineering.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate, GCP Cloud Engineer) are a plus.
