L3 Cloud Engineer - Azure/Google Cloud Platform (6-10 yrs)

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Design, architect, and implement cloud-based solutions on Azure and GCP, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings.

- Define and implement cloud security best practices, including access control, data encryption, and threat detection.

- Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management using infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).

- Optimize cloud resource utilization and costs by identifying and implementing cost-saving measures.

- Monitor and maintain cloud environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud-related issues.

- Perform regular security audits and penetration testing of cloud environments.

- Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud-based applications.

- Lead cloud migration projects, including planning, assessment, and execution.

- Assist in modernizing existing applications to leverage cloud-native technologies and services.

- Document cloud architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.

- Share knowledge and best practices with team members through documentation, presentations, and workshops.

Required Skills :

- Strong foundational knowledge of cloud computing principles: IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, virtualization, networking, security.

- Hands-on experience with Azure and GCP services: Compute, storage, networking, security, databases, analytics.

- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools : Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation.

- Proficiency in scripting languages : Python, Bash, PowerShell.

- Experience with containerization technologies : Docker, Kubernetes.

- Strong understanding of networking protocols: TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, load balancing.

- Experience with security best practices: IAM, encryption, vulnerability management, threat detection.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cloud certifications : Azure Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect.

- Experience with DevOps practices and tools : CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and logging.

- Experience with container orchestration platforms : Kubernetes, Docker Swarm.

- Experience with cloud-native technologies : Serverless computing, microservices, APIs
