Senior Data Analyst (5-10 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, proficiency in data manipulation and visualization tools, and a proven ability to translate data into actionable insights. You will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making by providing data-driven recommendations.

Responsibilities :

Data Analysis & Interpretation :

- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

- Interpret data and provide clear and concise reports to stakeholders.

- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).

- Conduct ad-hoc analyses to answer specific business questions.

Data Management & Manipulation :

- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources.

- Clean and validate data to ensure accuracy and consistency.

- Develop and maintain data documentation and data dictionaries.

- Manage and optimize data storage and retrieval processes.

Statistical Analysis & Modeling :

- Apply statistical methods to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions.

- Develop and implement statistical models for forecasting and prediction.

- Conduct hypothesis testing and A/B testing to evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives.

Reporting & Visualization :

- Create compelling visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.

- Develop and deliver presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

- Design and implement automated reporting processes.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions.

- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

- Experience with Python or R for data analysis and statistical modeling.

- Expertise in Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.

- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).

- Familiarity with cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery).

- Knowledge of statistical methods and techniques (e.g., regression analysis, hypothesis testing).

- Experience with statistical software packages (e.g., SPSS, SAS).

- Proficiency in data manipulation and cleaning techniques.

- Experience with data ETL processes.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.

- 5-10 years of experience in data analysis.

- Proven ability to analyze complex datasets and provide actionable insights.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
