Job Description
1. Monitor, plan and forecast upcoming demands, market conditions and procurement strategies
2. Prepare Raw material/ Bought out purchase bar-chart as per project deadlines
3. Float enquiry for Raw material/bought out to be purchased as per PR
4. Negotiate lower pricing, craft new negotiation strategies, and close the deal on optimal terms
5. Compare quotes received from different vendors and get approval from management
6. Prepare PO (Purchase Order) as per PR and get approval from management. Release PO to the
7. Interdepartmental coordination - attend meetings and update other departments on issues/
8. Ensure timely delivery of raw material/bought out as per quality norms
9. Rank and manage vendors as per quality, price, and timeliness of material
10. Develop new vendors
11. Evaluation of vendor and assigning vendor code
12. Procurement of raw material/ bought out as per budget
13. Standardizations of items
14. Rate contract with suppliers
15. Ensure all purchase transactions are conducted ethically
16. Research and evaluate areas of opportunities and reduce cost where possible
17. Ensure timely submission of supplier invoices to the Accounts department
18. Work delegation and training of subordinates
