Purchase Manager

Overview:
The Purchase Manager will manage all procurement-related activities for engineering projects, including vendor development, purchase order (PO) creation, and contract negotiation. The role requires strong communication skills, technical knowledge, and experience with ERP systems to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Release POs through ERP systems.
• Develop and manage supplier relationships.
• Evaluate and negotiate contracts with equipment suppliers.
• Analyze technical data and specifications for project requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and feasibility.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and manage procurement budgets.

Required Skills:

• BE/B Tech (Mechanical)
• Experience in EPC procurement.
• Proficiency with ERP/SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze technical documents like bills of material and drawings.

Preferred Industry:
Engineering Project Companies or EPC firms.
