Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Manager Purchase, Stores, and Logistics to oversee and manage procurement, inventory control, and logistics operations in the wiring harness manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient sourcing of materials, optimizing inventory management, and overseeing logistics to meet production and delivery requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure a cost-effective and timely supply of materials.
• Identify and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to ensure high-quality raw materials at competitive prices.
• Manage inventory control systems to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
• Oversee stores operations, ensuring efficient handling, storage, and issuance of materials.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and planning teams to ensure material availability for seamless manufacturing.
• Supervise logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, legal regulations, and company policies related to procurement, storage, and logistics.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for procurement, stores, and logistics functions, driving continuous improvement.
• Implement and promote lean inventory management techniques to optimize space and cost.
• Manage vendor evaluations and audits to maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Handle cost control and budget management for purchase and logistics functions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency in procurement, storage, and logistics operations.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree BCom, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in procurement, stores, and logistics management, preferably in wiring harness manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management, vendor negotiations, and logistics operations.
• Experience with ERP systems and inventory management software.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Just-In-Time (JIT), and cost-reduction techniques.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of import/export regulations, transportation, and warehousing.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) or APICS Certification.
• Experience in automotive, aerospace, or industrial wiring harness manufacturing.
• Knowledge of supplier quality management and global sourcing strategies.
