Condition Monitoring/Vibration Analyst Specialist

Role & responsibilities

Vibration Analysis:

• Conduct regular vibration analysis and condition monitoring of pumps, motors, and related equipment.
• Identify anomalies and provide detailed diagnostics for mechanical or operational issues.

1. Predictive Maintenance:
   
• Develop and execute predictive maintenance strategies to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Proactively identify potential equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
2. Data Management:
   
• Collect, store, and analyze vibration data using specialized tools and software.
• Maintain a robust database of machine performance history to improve reliability metrics.
3. Reporting:
   
• Prepare comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations based on vibration analysis.
• Communicate findings effectively to the maintenance and engineering teams.
4. Collaboration:
   
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure implementation of recommendations and best practices.
• Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures.
5. Training and Development:
   
• Train and mentor junior team members and maintenance personnel on condition monitoring techniques.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in vibration analysis and predictive maintenance.
6. Equipment Maintenance:
   
• Ensure that condition monitoring tools and equipment are calibrated, functional, and updated.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with monitoring equipment as needed.
7. Compliance and Safety:
   
• Adhere to all safety protocols and standards during condition monitoring activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Certification in vibration analysis (e.g., ISO Category I/II/III) is preferred.
• Proven experience (3–5 years) in condition monitoring and vibration analysis for industrial equipment.
• Proficiency in using vibration analysis tools and software (e.g., SKF, CSI, or similar platforms).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
