Job Description

To undertake systematic review under the guidance of PIs/Co-PIs

Develop systematic review protocol for the review
Execute the search strategies
Undertake quality appraisal and data synthesis
Interpret results and draft the manuscript

To develop and implement Mathematical modelling under the guidance of PIs/Co-PIs

Development of the infectious disease model
Framing the model assumptions using indicators from the literature and from the systematic review
Executing the model by using R software/Python
Develop the manuscript

Develop project report in consultation with PI/Co-PIs
To liaise with IIT Bombay and other Government agencies for the purpose of the project if any
To coordinate with the finance section for any financial and administrative issues.
To prepare and deliver presentations for meetings, conference and workshop as required
To contribute to teaching/training activities at IIPH-D (as necessary)
Any other activities as delegated by the PI/Co-PI

Qualification:

Essential:

Masters in Mathematics or Statistics or related field

Desirable:

PhD in the above mentioned subjects

Experience:

Essential:

PhD or MTech or equivalent degree with minimum 4 years relevant experience or MSc or equivalent degree with minimum 6 years relevant experience

Desirable:

Prior experience of developing and executing mathematical and statistical models with demonstrated experience in infectious disease modelling
Knowledge of MS Office, R and Python (statistical software like Stata, SPSS, etc
Good Communication and writing skills.
