Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Talent Management and Recruitment: Develop and implement talent management strategies to attract, manage, develop, and retain employees within the operations department. Lead recruitment efforts for operational roles, ensuring high standards of quality and fit. Vendor Management and Offroll Hiring: Develop and maintain strong relationships with manpower vendors. Ensure vendor compliance with contractual agreements and HR policies.

Oversee the offroll hiring process, ensuring it aligns with company standards and operational needs. Payroll Processing: Oversee the payroll process for offroll employees within operations. Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with legal standards. Resolve any payroll-related issues promptly and efficiently.

Performance Management: Develop and oversee performance appraisal systems that drive high performance. Educate managers on performance management processes and assist in addressing employee performance issues. Training and Development: Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills pertinent to logistics and operations. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and their ROI.

Employee Relations: Manage employee relations within the operations department, ensuring they are addressed legally and effectively. Promote a positive working environment through regular communication and feedback mechanisms. Change Management: Lead change management initiatives within the operations department, ensuring smooth transitions. Effectively communicate changes to all stakeholders to ensure alignment and acceptance.

Compliance and Ethics: Ensure all HR practices within operations adhere to legal and ethical standards. Stay updated on new laws and regulations that impact HR and logistics operations. HR Analytics: Use HR analytics to make informed decisions and refine HR policies. Generate reports on HR metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

Compensation and Benefits: Oversee compensation programs to ensure they are competitive and equitable. Manage employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance and satisfaction. Diversity and Inclusion: Champion diversity and inclusion within the operations workforce. Implement initiatives that contribute to a more diverse workplace.

Requirements. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Masters degree or HR certification (e g, SHRM-CP or PHR) is preferred. At least 5 years of HR experience, with 3+ years in an HRBP role or similar, ideally within the logistics or manufacturing sector.

Demonstrated expertise in workforce planning, performance management, and employee relations. Strong understanding of HR issues specific to logistics, including vendor management and offroll workforce handling. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Capable of thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
