What will you be responsible for?

Devops Senior Engineer in the capability of Healthcare Intelligence team, analyze & establish automated deployments for various types of solutions with best practices and standards in place. Responsible for building Infrastructure as a code to provide platform to host applications on different platforms of Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.

As a Devops Senior Engineer, you will

• The DevOps Senior Engineer is responsible for planning and execution of large-scale migrations of systems from on premise to Azure cloud platform.
• Create architecture, design, and implementation of DevOps.
• Derive Devops roadmap, implement and drive as per roadmap plan.
• Build and maintain tools and frameworks that support deployment automation, health-check of applications and security update activities.
• Design, build, and deliver dashboards and reports to monitor applications and underlying cloud infrastructure to identify bottlenecks causing degradation of service quality and/or availability
• Assist with roadmap implementation a DevOps model, automating configuration and maintenance activities with scripts (Python/ PowerShell /Bash experience needed) and other tooling as much as possible.
• Enable monitoring for availability, performance, troubleshooting and recoverability of PaaS services hosted in Microsoft Azure cloud platform
• Engage with stakeholders globally and participate in decisions related to product goals, features, and priorities.
• Work with monitoring tools; manage access and permissions; maintain appropriate configurations; provide recommendations on system improvements
• Maintain secure environments running in Azure using industry-accepted standards (MFA, encrypted data transfer, etc.) Evaluate tools, technologies, and processes to improve efficiency and scalability of infrastructure environments
• Create a healthy team culture aligned with the mission and values of Providence i.e., Integrity, Compassion, Dignity, Respect, Justice
• Create insightful dashboards and robust metrics for Devops space.
• Show an ever-learning mindset to strengthen understanding of global health care systems.
• Participate and contribute to industry learning and stay up to date with latest trends and findings

What would your day look like?

• Partner with multiple teams like engineering, Ops, managers, on automation opportunities with respect to deployments, infrastructure, monitoring, etc.
• Analyze the Devops/ infrastructure/ migration requirements, define Architecture to implement Devops and present to corresponding stakeholders
• Setup/ propose enhancements in Devops best practices, standards as applicable.
• Drive Devops with CI/CD pipelines for E2E automation of deployments for various solutions to deploy on Azure Cloud platform independently.
• Instrument Infrastructure as a code (provision & configuration management).
• Constantly monitor and provide recommendations on system improvements
• Track & deliver the assigned sprint items in a timely manner, with high quality.

Who are we looking for?

• 7+ years of experience in Microsoft Azure based services and Devops tools
• Strong technical problem-solving skills, analytical skills, infrastructure migration.
• Strong Presentation skills, address challenges, Collaborative skills with global teams.
• Ability to take ownership of issues, drive initiatives independently or escalate as needed, and find creative ways to resolve problems.
• Ability to define build and deployment/release designs for CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Azure cloud-based provisioning using Terraform, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting and related automation technologies
• Good understanding of Azure concepts including Networking, Routing, Load Balancing, Disaster Recovery, Firewalls, AKS, Docker, etc.
• Experience in setting CICD for ADF Pipelines, Azure Databricks, PowerBI, Control-M
• Experience in Data Engg and Analytical tools like SQL, ADF Pipelines, Databricks.
• Experience in cloud technologies & tools, Service Models, Deployment Models
• Experience in Scripting (Python/ PowerShell/ Bash) to create reusable components
• Strong in source control / configuration management including Git; familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub and Visual Studio Code
• Experience with SQL server database, writing basic to mid-level queries a plus
• Experience in CDW (Snowflake) deployments, DataOps and MLOps is a plus
• Databricks Administration including cluster management, access and roles management, Databricks jobs maintenance is a plus

• Azure PAAS Services Security and Provisioning – Azure API Management Policies, Azure App Service, Event Hubs, Service Bus, Storage accounts, CDN
• Cloud Security – Azure Key Vault, Certificate management, Azure Security Center, Threat Detection, HSTS, Identity Management – Azure AD
• Cloud monitoring – Experience with Azure Log Analytics, Application Insights, Datadog
