Structural Engineer - Design

MISTA Infra is building tallest tower of South India (in east Bengaluru) and for this current project we seek an experienced and motivated Structural Engineer: Design, with high rise tower experience to join our dynamic team. We are searching for a qualified structural engineer to oversee projects and ensure that budget, timeline, and quality goals are met. The structural engineer will analyze project goals, design structural elements, perform field visits, make safety recommendations, and maintain a project database. Were looking for a detail-oriented problem-solver with a project management background. Objectives of this role

• Apply technical knowledge to meet all stakeholder expectations.
• Ensure that each completed project meets local codes, regulations, and quality standards.
• Deliver structurally sound designs capable of withstanding routine use, the elements, and inspection.
• Monitor project progress, ensuring its completed on time and within budget.
• Set design protocols according to relevant codes and standards.
• Advise civil engineers on best practices in building design and execution

Responsibilities

• Analyze project goals and perform structural calculations.
• Design structural elements of each project using computer software like AutoCAD, STADD Pro, Revit, or RISA.
• Make recommendations for materials to use and safety measures to take.
• Oversee project management, like tracking budgets and maintaining a database of projects and their progress.
• Review shop drawings and provide feedback to colleagues.
• Perform field visits and write reports detailing project viability and progress.

Skills and qualifications

• Academic qualifications include B. Tech in Civil Engineering and M. Tech in Structural Engineering.
• 10 - 15 years of experience in designing High Rise towers both Residential and Commercial.
• Strong technical background in structural design.
• Proficient with 3D structural modelling software, like AutoCAD, STADD Pro, Revit, or RISA. • Deep knowledge of construction materials and methodologies.
• Proven drafting skills, exemplified by a portfolio of prior work.
• Highly collaborative spirit and experience working in a team.
• Problem-solving skills to quickly address issues that arise on-site and keep projects on track.
