Job Description:

We at Prosper Overseas are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Office Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting tasks, including GST filing, Tally operations, and invoice processing. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software.

Responsibilities:

GST Filing: Ensure timely and accurate filing of Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns as per regulatory requirements.

Tally Operations: Maintain Tally software to record financial transactions, reconcile accounts, and generate reports.

Invoice Processing: Manage the invoicing process, including issuing invoices, verifying accuracy, and following up on payments.

Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and bank statements.

Budget Management: Assist in budget preparation and monitoring expenses to ensure adherence to financial goals.

Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors regarding payments, resolve billing discrepancies, and maintain positive relationships.

Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, for management review.

Compliance: Stay updated on relevant accounting laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

*Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role.

*Proficiency in Tally software and MS Office Suite.

*Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

*Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

*Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
