Job Description
- The Deputy Area Manager (DAM) is responsible for acquiring and managing a team of part-time Insurance Managers (IMs), aiming for 6-7 IM acquisitions annually.
- The role includes supporting IMs through training, performance management, and operational support, ensuring they meet sales targets and maintain high-quality standards in business practices.
- After successful completion of one year, DAMs may advance to the role of CDM, focusing on the Independent Marketing Firm (IMF) journey.
Requirements
Understand the IMacquisition and also IMF regulation, value proposition & registrationprocess.
Acquisition of 6 -7 IMin a year independently.
Independently managinga pool of Insurance Managers mapped to them from existing pool in the beginningonly.
Post successfulcompletion of 1 year, the next level is CDM wherein the focus will be on IMFjourney.
Manage performanceof IM
o Develop understanding of products & coach IM staff on product USP
o Implement performance managementand rewards system in IM.
o Provide marketing, training and operational support to IM
o Manage attrition of IMthrough revival or replacement
Drive quality ofbusiness sourced from IM
o Ensure rightproduct mix and control key quality measures such as leakage and persistency.
