Sr. Surgical Gastroenterologist

Clinical Expertise

• Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal diseases, including those requiring surgical intervention.
  
• Perform advanced surgical procedures such as liver resections, colorectal surgeries, pancreatic surgeries, and minimally invasive techniques (laparoscopic and robotic surgeries).
  
• Manage post-operative care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Patient Management

• Provide consultations for referred patients and ensure comprehensive evaluations.
  
• Develop individualized treatment plans, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams as needed.
  
• Maintain detailed patient records and ensure compliance with medical standards and regulations.

Leadership Collaboration

• Mentor and guide junior medical staff, including residents and fellows.
  
• Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and other specialists to deliver integrated care.
  
• Contribute to hospital committees, quality improvement initiatives, and strategic planning.

Research Education

• Stay updated on the latest advancements in surgical gastroenterology.
  
• Conduct and participate in clinical research and academic activities.
  
• Deliver lectures and training sessions for medical students, residents, and healthcare professionals.

Operational Duties

• Assist in developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for surgical gastroenterology.
  
• Participate in hospital accreditation and quality assurance programs.
• Handle emergencies and provide on-call support as required.

Requirements Qualifications

• MBBS with an MCh/DNB in Surgical Gastroenterology.

Experience

Minimum 5- 10 years of post-qualification experience in surgical gastroenterology.

Proven expertise in performing complex GI surgeries and minimally invasive procedures.
