Job Description

  • The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth within a designated area by developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing a sales team, and building strong relationships with key customers.
  • This role requires a deep understanding of the market, strong leadership skills, and the ability to meet or exceed sales targets.

    Requirements
    • Sales Strategy Development and Execution:
      • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the assigned area to achieve sales targets.
      • Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the area.
      • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies and stay ahead in the market.
      • Team Leadership and Management:
        • Lead, manage, and motivate the area sales team to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
        • Recruit, train, and develop sales representatives to ensure a high-performing team.
        • Monitor individual and team performance, providing regular feedback and coaching.
        • Customer Relationship Management:
          • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
          • Address customer needs, concerns, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
          • Work closely with the customer service and support teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
          • Sales Performance Monitoring:
            • Track sales metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies.
            • Prepare and present regular sales reports to the Regional Sales Manager, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
            • Manage the sales budget and ensure the profitability of the area.
            • Market and Product Knowledge:
              • Maintain deep knowledge of the companyproducts, services, and value propositions.
              • Stay informed about industry developments, market trends, and competitive landscape to provide insights and recommendations.
              • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns tailored to the area.
              • Compliance and Reporting:
                • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
                • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales agreements.
                • Cross-functional Collaboration:
                  • Work closely with other departments (e.g., Marketing, Product Development, Customer Support) to align sales efforts with overall business goals.
                  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to provide sales insights and feedback on product performance and customer needs.
