Role Description :
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SAP SD Support Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert support to our clients on their SAP SD implementations, with a focus on S4/HANA.
You will leverage your deep understanding of SAP SD, infrastructure, and IT best practices to resolve complex issues, drive process improvements, and ensure client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
- SAP SD Support : Provide comprehensive Level 2 and Level 3 support for SAP SD modules, including order processing, delivery, billing, pricing, and transportation.
- S4/HANA Expertise : Leverage your knowledge of S4/HANA to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to migrations, upgrades, and new functionalities.
- Incident Management : Manage and resolve incidents reported by clients, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing business disruption.
- Problem Management : Identify and analyze recurring problems, develop root cause analysis, and implement permanent solutions.
- Change Management : Support the implementation of changes and enhancements to SAP SD systems, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
- ServiceNow Expertise : Utilize ServiceNow for incident management, problem management, change management, and request fulfillment.
- Infrastructure Understanding : Demonstrate a strong understanding of SAP infrastructure (both on-premises and cloud-based) to effectively diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams (i.e., development, Basis, other functional teams) and external clients to resolve complex issues and drive consensus.
- Continuous Improvement : Contribute to the continuous improvement of support processes, knowledge base, and best practices.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for support activities, resolutions, and knowledge articles.
- Knowledge Sharing : Share your knowledge and expertise with other team members and contribute to internal training programs.
Technical Skills :
- Deep understanding of SAP SD processes and configurations.
- Experience with S4/HANA migrations and implementations.
- Proficiency in ABAP debugging and basic ABAP coding for analysis.
- Experience with SAP integration technologies (i.e.,IDocs, APIs).
- Knowledge of SAP Basis functionalities related to SD support.
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager for incident management and change control.
- Strong understanding of database concepts and SQL queries.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their impact on SAP deployments.
- Experience with ITIL framework and best practices.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in SAP SD support roles.
- Proven experience supporting S4/HANA environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong customer service orientation.
Preferred Qualifications :
- SAP certifications in SD.
- Experience with other SAP modules (i.e., MM, FI).
- Experience with automation tools for SAP support.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
