Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - VBCS Module (6-12 yrs)

Location : Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune, Noida, Gurgaon.

Role : OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).

Experience : 6 to 12 years experience.

Notice Period : Max 30 days.

Job Description :

- Single point of contact with customer for Cloud enablement/assessment.

- On-premise infrastructure assessment (networking, applications, databases, etc.

- Identify application dependencies.

- Based on inventory report, determine end of lifecycle of workloads (OS versions, application versions, database versions, etc.

- Identify high availability and geo redundancy requirements.

- Determine the right size TCO.

- Automation assessments tasks.

- Networking Design.

- OCI landing zone templates creation/update.

- Work with OCI team to build the OCI environment.

- VM creation, Subnet Creation and routing table creation.

- End to End application validation with customer (troubleshooting latency, packet loss, burst, etc.).

- OCI Admin experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.(OCI Admin with terraform /kubernetes & Monitoring tools).

- Regression testing/Performance testing.

- Experience with Oracle Cloud Platform as a Service PaaS offerings including VBCS, OIC, JCS, Block-chain and Kubernetes.

- Hands on experience architecting and implementing solutions on Oracle Cloud.

- Worked on large scale cloud migration projects IaaS and PaaS.

- Strong knowledge of migrating enterprise workloads to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure-OCI.

- Familiarity with various cloud deployment models and strategies.

- Understanding of key OCI components such as compute storage and network.

- Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non technical audiences.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams including sales engineering and product management.

- Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.

- Self motivated with a proactive approach to work and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
