Job Description
Job Title: SAP SAC Security Consultant
Location: Hybrid (Bangalore or Pune)
Experience: 7-10 Years
We are seeking an experienced SAP SAC Security Consultant to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Security with expertise in SAP Analytics Applications such as BW/BI, BOBJ, and SAC Planning. The role requires hands-on experience in data access control, user administration, and SAP authorization concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage SAP SAC security controls, ensuring compliance with best practices.
- Define and maintain SAP security roles and authorizations across BW/BI, BOBJ, and SAC Planning .
- Handle data access control and ensure appropriate access is granted based on business needs.
- Manage different user and role types , including SAP authorization concepts and activity groups.
- Ensure Segregation of Duties (SoD) compliance and perform risk analysis.
- Provide solution architecture for SAP security requirements, including technical design and development.
- Lead end-to-end SAP Security implementations , including UAT, regression testing, cutover, and hyper-care support.
- Develop and enforce SAP security policies in line with compliance requirements.
- Proactively identify and address potential security issues before they escalate.
- Maintain documentation and audit readiness to ensure all security processes are well-documented.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to optimize security configurations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP Security with expertise in SAP Analytics Applications (BW/BI, BOBJ, SAC Planning - must-have).
- Strong knowledge of SAP authorization concepts, user administration, and access control .
- Experience in Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis and compliance.
- Ability to act as a Solution Architect , defining security solutions in response to client requirements.
- Experience managing UAT, regression testing, cutover, and hyper-care activities .
- Hands-on experience in developing and enforcing SAP security policies .
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate potential security issues .
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills .
- Highly organized and proactive , ensuring tasks are completed within deadlines.
