Job Description
Job Title: Data Scientist
Location: Hybrid (Bengaluru - Shanthala Nagar, Ashok Nagar) | 2 days a week
Experience: 5 - 7 years
Preferred Domain: HR Analytics and Workforce Data Modeling
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist with a strong background in Predictive Modeling and Machine Learning to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with Python, R, Jupyter Notebooks, and statistical techniques to drive insights and solutions in HR Analytics and Workforce Data Modeling . You will work with large datasets, apply data wrangling techniques, and develop data-driven visualizations to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms to drive HR and workforce analytics.
- Utilize Python and R for data analysis, modeling, and visualization.
- Work with Jupyter notebooks for data exploration and presentation.
- Perform statistical analysis , including probability and hypothesis testing, to generate actionable insights.
- Handle large datasets , apply data wrangling techniques , and ensure data quality.
- Develop data-driven visualizations to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand HR challenges and create data-driven solutions.
- Act as both an individual contributor and an effective team player in a dynamic work environment.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field .
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in predictive modeling and machine learning .
- Proficiency in Python and R for data analysis, modeling, and visualization.
- Strong hands-on experience with Jupyter notebooks for data exploration.
- In-depth understanding of statistics, probability, and hypothesis testing .
- Experience in working with large datasets and applying data wrangling techniques .
- Ability to create data-driven visualizations and present insights effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
