Lead-Project Management

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lead - Project Management for our Renewable Energy business. This individual will oversee and manage large-scale renewable energy projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. The Lead Project Manager will coordinate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure successful project execution in the renewable energy sector, including solar, wind, and other sustainable energy projects.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership:
  Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of renewable energy projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
• Team Management:
  Manage and mentor a team of project managers, engineers, and other staff to ensure efficient project delivery. Foster a collaborative team culture focused on continuous improvement and excellence.
• Project Planning:
  Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, resource allocation, risk management, and budgeting. Ensure that all stakeholders are aligned on project goals and timelines.
• Stakeholder Communication:
  Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and contractors. Regularly update senior management and clients on project progress, challenges, and mitigation strategies.
• Risk and Issue Management:
  Identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and proactively address project obstacles to minimize delays or cost overruns.
• Financial Management:
  Oversee project budgets, ensuring the project stays within financial constraints. Monitor and report on expenditures, adjust forecasts as needed, and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
• Compliance & Regulations:
  Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards for renewable energy projects. Monitor and ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Vendor and Contractor Management:
  Manage relationships with third-party vendors, suppliers, and contractors, ensuring that they meet project specifications, timelines, and quality expectations.
• Reporting & Documentation:
  Ensure thorough documentation of project details, including contracts, design documents, procurement records, and project status reports. Prepare and submit project reports to internal and external stakeholders.

• Education:
  Bachelors degree in Engineering. Plus Masters in Construction Management
• Experience:
• At least 12-15 years of experience in project management within the renewable energy sector (solar, wind, hydro, etc.).
• Proven track record of managing large, complex renewable energy projects from concept through completion.
• Experience leading and mentoring a diverse team of professionals.
• Skills & Knowledge:
• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• In-depth understanding of renewable energy technologies and project life cycles.
• Expertise in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, teams, and stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of project budgeting, contract negotiation, and financial management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Certifications:
  Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar project management certifications preferred.
