ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead Multiple projects independently.
- Establish the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters.
- Leading on compliance for quality, safety, health, and environment issues on project commissions
- Leading on establishing effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilised throughout project.
- Lead on Project planning, including producing the detailed project plan
- Leading on advising upon the procurement of resources
- Leading and facilitating the overall cross-functional project team
- Managing the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications
- Taking a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering, Post Graduate Degree in Construction Management, Master of Business Administration
- Excellent Interpersonal & Communication skills
- Strategic thinker and leader with Consulting experience with a focus on operations management
- Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g., MSP)
- Should have experience in working with Multinational clients and handling projects of a scale of 1 lakhs sqft to 1 million sqft
- MS office skills -Good at preparing high impact presentations
- Proven experience organizing and directing multiple teams and departments
- PMP Certification would be a plus
- Ideally professionally qualified in one of the following fields: construction, project management, engineering, surveying or architecture
- Ideally a member of a professional body i.e. RICS, APM, CIOB
- Ideally you will have worked with leading consultancies
- Experience of delivering CAT A / CAT B office projects
- Delivered and lead teams on schemes in excess of 60,000 sqft
Internal management accountabilities, to include:
- Knowledge management - Ensuring that key information and learning generated from each project is input into the Vestian internal database
- Financial management - Ensuring prompt client invoicing and monitoring a project's financial status
- Process improvement - Identifying ways in which internal systems and processes can be improved and referring ideas to the appropriate line manager
- Line Management - Mentor and develop line reports, carry out performance reviews and identify skills gaps in the team
