Role & responsibilities

Strategic Financial Planning

• Preparing short term / long term budgets and comparing with actual and finding reason for variances.
• Making strategic planning to deal with exchange fluctuation.
• Determining financial objectives, preparing & implementing systems, policies & procedures and reporting variances to facilitate internal financial control.
• Interpreting financial data for determining past financial performance, projecting the financial probability of companies and ensuring that the financial information is presented clearly, consistently and on time to Management.

Accounting & MIS

• Managing the accounting operations in preview of Indian GAAP as well as complying with IFRS as needed for group reporting.
• Presenting a true and fair view of the financial position of the company by way of timely preparation of annual reports ensuring analysing the expenditure on a monthly basis to control expenses.
• Implementing effective costing systems to track the inward / outward movement of goods and monitor the inventory level to achieve optimum cost control.
• Supervising the preparation of MIS Report to provide feedback to top management on financial performance, viz. monthly, profitability & turnover as per the requirement of Management.
• Preparing the IFRS report as per German GAAP
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly MIS in International format
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly P&L and Balance sheet
• Project accounting, capitalisation, Fund Flow management and handling registrations for upcoming Branches.

Auditing & Taxation

• Handling the complete planning & management activities for ensuring completion of statutory audit/ tax audit/ transfer price audit/ internal audit/ stock audits within time frame in adherence to the Accounting standards
• Coordinating with Audit Team for conducting periodic internal audits.
• Preparing tax plans and ensuring timely assessment and filing of direct & indirect tax returns,
• Statutory Income Tax, GST in compliance with Statutory Tax Acts.

SAP/ERP Environment

• Mapping business requirements and coordinating with the implementation team for improvement / computerisation of the accounting procedures through various systems.
• Well verse with FICO/MM/SD module of SAP
