Job Title: Accounts Executive
Location: Nehru Place, New Delhi
Job Type: Full-time/Permanent
Reports to: Director

Job Overview:
Professional Utilities Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled Accounts Executive to manage and oversee the financial operations of our diverse client base. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring adherence to taxation and compliance regulations, and delivering insightful financial reporting. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to provide seamless accounting support and compliance services, contributing to their business growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting and Bookkeeping:

  • Maintain and update clients' financial records, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including invoicing, payments, petty cash, and expense tracking.
  • Prepare and process all financial transactions with accuracy and timeliness.

Taxation and Compliance:

  • Assist in preparing and filing GST returns, TDS, EPF-ESIC, and income tax returns.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Reconcile GST Input and Output accounts for accurate reporting.

Client Coordination:

  • Collaborate with clients to gather financial data and documentation.
  • Address client queries regarding financial statements, tax filings, and compliance.
  • Provide regular updates to clients on their accounts and compliance status.

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements like balance sheets, P&L statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Generate customized reports for client decision-making.
  • Offer insights to improve clients financial management.

Licensing and Certification Support:

  • Assist clients with statutory registrations like GST and other licenses.
  • Ensure proper financial documentation for certifications and compliance.

Audit and Reconciliation:

  • Support internal and external audits by resolving queries and maintaining compliance.
  • Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and other records for accuracy.

Team Collaboration and Process Improvement:

  • Work with internal teams to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
  • Recommend and implement accounting system improvements for efficiency.
  • Stay updated with accounting and tax regulations through training and workshops


Key Requirements:

  1. Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. 2+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or tax compliance.
  3. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
  4. Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other compliance regulations.
  5. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  6. Willingness to travel for client site operations, as needed.
  7. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  8. Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with accounting software and MS Excel.
