About the role: In this role your primary responsibility is to develop, and implement effective ServiceNow solutions that align with business objectives and meet the needs of the organization. You will work closely with stakeholders, Solution Architects, Dev Leads and fellow developers, to analyze requirements, implement the solutions and configuration of the ServiceNow platform. Your expertise in ServiceNow's capabilities and best practices will enable you to develop a scalable and sustainable solutions that enhance productivity, streamline processes, and improve overall service management. 

 Candidate Requirements:

1. Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field for 2-4 years
2. Minimum 2-4 years of experience in ServiceNow Development with a focus on building custom applications, Integrations, and workflows. 
3. In-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, including Service Catalog, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and other ITSM modules. 
4. Proficiency in configuring and customization including foundational data setup such as service catalog, categories, items, and request workflows. 
5. Experience with ServiceNow integrations, REST/SOAP APIs, Integration HUB and data exchange mechanisms. 
6. Strong understanding of ITIL processes and IT service management principles. 
7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues and propose effective solutions. 
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. 

Responsibilities:

1. Work with stakeholders to implement the technical solutions as designed by the SA. 
2. Implement the solution using the globally acknowledged best practices and coding standards.
3. Perform proper UT, to have near zero defects.
4. Should be able to demonstrate the solution to a larger audience.
5. Take part of the code review calls to ensure the code developed is of highest quality as per the set standards. 
6. Take part in the deployment of the implemented solutions over the weekend at least once in a month.

Nice to have: 

1. ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification. 
2. Experience with other ServiceNow custom application development and portal development.
3. JavaScript, Business Rules, Server-side scripting, Client-side Scripting, Script Includes, service catalog, widgets, scheduled jobs, email notifications, reporting and dashboards.
