Key skills for the job
1) Sales and Business Development
a. Drive sales & marketing for programs and courses in colleges,
universities, and other educational institutions
b. Achieve and exceed the revenue targets on monthly, quarterly and annual basis
c. Daily Outreach and Engagement -
i. Schedule and conduct daily visits to colleges and universities
ii. Actively engage faculty, administration, and student bodies during visits to understand
needs and explore potential collaborations.
d. Lead Generation & Conversion -
i. Identify opportunities and generate leads during institutional visits.
ii. Ensure rigorous follow-up on leads, translating them into profitable partnerships and
revenue avenues.
iii. Deepen the existing relationships of existing clients through various initiatives such as
increasing more number of products, cross selling of products, increasing target
student base within the particular educational institution.
e. Sales & Revenue Generation
i. Present our tailored product/courses/programs portfolio to educational institutions during visits.
ii. Collaborate internally to create solutions that meet specific institutional needs, driving
revenue.
iii. Achieve and ideally exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets through direct
sales and partnerships.
2) Relationship Building
a. Build and sustain lasting relationships with educational institutions & affiliated bodies.
b. Organize and attend regular meetings, ensuring institutions are kept abreast of our latest
offerings and initiatives.
3) Client Servicing
a. Address concerns or feedback promptly, ensuring colleges and universities have an
exceptional experience with our offerings.
b. Proactive monitor the quality of the services being offered
c. Collaborate internally to ensure timely delivery and customization based on institutional
feedback.
4) Market Intelligence
a. Identify new areas for carrying out future expansion; and helping in nurturing new
business opportunities;
b. Stay abreast of competition within the higher education sector, refining our approach.
5) Reporting & Analysis
a. Generate regular sales reports, tracking institutional engagement, conversions, and
revenue.
b. Analyze sales data to forecast trends and set future targets.
6) Events & Orientations -
a. Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products/ services
b. Conduct orientations to students and others on various products / courses
c. Ensure the availability of marketing material for sales and demonstrations
d. Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
e. Negotiate/close deals
