Sales Engineer

Role & Responsibilities

• Sales and Business Development:
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in target industries like automotive, manufacturing, oil & gas, and power.
• Promote and sell ProSols range of products, including Shell lubricants, SKF bearings, Atlas Copco compressors, and other industrial solutions.
• Customer Relationship Management:
• Build and nurture strong relationships with maintenance managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions to address customer challenges effectively.
• Technical Consultation:
• Understand client needs and recommend the most suitable products or solutions.
• Work with the technical team to ensure smooth implementation and after-sales support.
• Market Analysis and Reporting:
• Stay updated on market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
• Prepare and share detailed sales reports, forecasts, and customer insights with the management.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Educational Qualification:
• Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related technical fields).
• Experience:
• 1 to 5 years of experience in industrial product sales or business development.
• Skills:
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
• Strong analytical skills to understand and address customer requirements.
• Technical Expertise:
• Knowledge of any one of industrial products such as lubricants, bearings, compressors, adhesives, abrasives or cutting tools is highly desirable.
