Production Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Requirements

Production Planning:
Develop and execute comprehensive production plans for Die Casting and VMC machining processes.
Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to align planning with technical requirements.
Balance production capacity with demand to optimize resource utilization.

Scheduling and Coordination:
Create and maintain production schedules for machining and assembly based on customer orders and inventory levels.
Coordinate with departments, ensuring seamless workflow.
Monitor and adjust schedules to address production challenges and meet delivery timelines.

Inventory Management:
Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.
Implement inventory control measures to minimize carrying costs while ensuring timely production.

Preparing and maintaining BOM of projects.

Resource Allocation:
Efficiently allocate resources, including manpower and materials. Collaborate with department heads to address resource constraints and optimize production processes.

Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing:
Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in machining processes.
Promote and apply lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Lead or support projects aimed at enhancing overall production efficiency.

Risk Management:
Proactively identify and address potential risks machining processes.
Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure uninterrupted production.
