AGM- Procurement

Role & responsibilities Strategic Procurement Management:

Develop and implement procurement strategies for direct and indirect CapEx and OpEx to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines.

Team Leadership:

Manage and mentor a team of 20-30 procurement professionals, fostering collaboration, performance excellence, and career development.

Category Expertise:

Oversee procurement for diverse categories, including:

Milk processing and ice cream production units.

Sales promotion and IT procurement.

Mechanical equipment and contracts.

Packaging machinery and materials.

New plant setup and associated requirements.

Supplier Management:

Identify, evaluate, and develop vendor relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and compliance.

Cost Optimization:

Drive cost-saving initiatives through effective negotiation, strategic sourcing, and process improvements.

Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure adherence to regulatory and company-specific guidelines in procurement activities while managing risks.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with engineering, operations, finance, and other stakeholders to align procurement strategies with organizational goals.

Project Management:

Lead procurement activities for new plant setups and capital-intensive projects, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
